Emily Curtis was born and raised in rural Maine. In high school, she self-published two poetry collections that have sold more than thirty thousand copies (find them in the shop).
Growing up in Maine, Emily loved everything outdoors: camping, sports, swimming, gardening, and enjoying nature. But she was destined for city life.
Emily attended Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received a degree in Writing, Literature & Publishing and a minor in Marketing Communications. She also recently received her Master’s degree in Publishing & Writing at Emerson College.
She currently resides in Brookline with her ginger Maine Coon, Stevie.
